FAQ’s
Can you use yardFresh for your garden?
Yes, it’s perfect for gardens. It won’t damage the grass and is gentle on the environment.
Does the product contain enzymes? If so, how natural is the product?
For it to neutralize odours, it has to contain some sort of chemical.
No, it is not a bacterial product. Chemicals generally mask odours but yardFRESH is made from plant extracts. This is the reason that it naturally neutralizes odours.
Is it safe to spray on a cat litter box?
Yes, it is safe to use on cat litter boxes.
Can you spray pet blankets?
Yes, it is safe to use on pet blankets.
If ordered online, will it be delivered to your doorstep?
If so, how long does it take?
Yes, we deliver door to door, within 5 days. Our delivery service is free within a 50km radius of the Cape Town area.
Is it cheaper to buy in-store than online?
Our prices are the same for online purchases and in-store. This excludes retailer promotions of course.
Can you spray the product on your pets?
You could but I wouldn’t advise it. Pets have varying skin sensitivities and allergies. Spraying it onto another surface like a blanket or litter box is fine but not directly onto their skin.
How many uses for 5L and 1L containers?
The ratios depend on how much the product is diluted and how it is utilised. 5 litres can make up to 50 litres once diluted for example.
When diluted, does it affect the intensity of the pleasant aromas?
Yes, it will be less intense but at the maximum dilution it is still strong enough to neutralize most odours.
Can you add a few drops to your humidifier?
I wouldn’t advise this as it’s a surface product and not an atomisation product.
Can it be used on furniture?
This depends on the furniture type. Plant extracts do contain essential oils which could stain certain woods but it should be fine on plastic material. However, once the concentrate is diluted, it is less likely to stain.
